The Roman Catholic Church

God confused the language of the people at the tower of Babel - the confusion even changed those names of whom they worshipped.  They were still worshipping the same spirit of Nimrod as Ra in Egypt, Jupiter in Greece and Mithra in the Roman Empire.

This worship finally became established at Rome and throughout the Roman Empire.  Through Constantine, paganism and Christianity joined hands in the Roman Empire through the Roman Catholic Church.  This religious organisation has many Bible-based teachings  but riddled with pagan beliefs and practices.

These include the Worship of Baal the sungod and  Mary as the mother goddess,   idol, image and relic worship, the use of the rosary and the Sign of the Cross, the payment of prayers for the dead, the enforced Celibacy of the priesthood, the doctrine of purgatory etc.  These and other pagan practices in the Roman Catholic church classify her as one of the whore's daughters - probably the largest, wealthiest and most influential of them all!
"Sol Invictus" and Mithraism

The Roman Empire began their official recognition of sun worship  during the time of Aurelian when he instituted the cult of "Sol Invictus"/Mithraism (the unconquered sun).  It was secret mystery religion, with graded positions which only allowed men to join.  They worshiped in caves.   Mithra, or Mithras/Nimrod, was the Persian sun god, and his worship was very popular throughout the Roman Empire for hundreds of years.

The Roman soliders were first introduced to this secret cult by Cilician pirates and slaves from Turkey that were taken prisoner by the roman soldiers.  The cult of Mithra became infectious.   After baptism into the Mysteries of Mithra, the initiate was marked on the forehead. The sign of the cross (Tammuz) formed by the elliptic and the celestial equator was one of the signs of Mithra ( now the sign of Lent). Sunday (Deis Solis), the day of the Sun, was considered by Mithraists as a sacred day of rest

In 274 AD, Emperor Aurelian established December 25th, the winter solstice (the shortest solar day of the year under the Julian calendar), as the day the goddess Cybele, the Queen of Heaven, gave birth to the sun, Mithras.

The yearly rebirth of Mithra was viewed as a yearly renewal of the Roman Empire.  Mithra/Nimrod was considered mediator between god and man and the god of light.

You can read more about Mithraism in our Freemasonry section.
Constantine wanted to promote stability in his kingdom.  He did not want his kingdom to fall like others had done throughout history  so he sought to unite his kingdoms pagan and christian worshippers.

Constantine was a sun-worshiper. In one decree he declared, "On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed" (March 7, 321). He made this decree in honor of the sun after his supposed conversion to Christianity  His coins were inscribed: "SOL INVICTO COMITI", which is interpreted as "Committed to the Invincible Sun".

The easiest way to bring harmony would be to blend sun worship and Christianity so for starters the priests of Mithra became the fathers/priests of the Roman church and the priestesses that were in the Cybele Temples became the nuns of the Roman church.

Many pagans had been drawn to Christianity and the bishops in Constantine's day realised that they could increase their numbers if they could find some similarity in Christianity and the worship of the mother goddess as the pagans adoration for the mother goddess was immense and the pagans did not want to give that up if they joined the christian church.

So very shrewdly Constantine and his bishops decided that Mary the mother of Jesus was the best person in the bible who could replace the great mother of paganism.  They could allow those people to still pray to their mother goddess only call her Mary instead of Cybele/Semiramis/Rhea/Isis and all the other names she was known as.  Little by little, the worship that had been associated with the pagan mother was transferred to Mary.
Mary worship was never part of the original Christian faith.  Mary the mother of Jesus was a fine, dedicated and godly woman but none of the apostles ever hinted at Mary worship.  Mary was the virgin mother of Jesus, the Son of God, but she did not remain a virgin forever.  Mark 6:3 actually lists four of Jesus’ brothers and mentions sisters as well.

Nor was the Biblical Mary sinless. Romans 3:23 makes it clear that
"all have sinned"–which would also include Mary.   Also, the Bible has
recorded that Mary offered sacrifices at the temple to atone for her sins.

As The Encyclopedia Britannica states, during the first centuries of the church, no emphasis was placed upon Mary whatsoever. This point is admitted by The Catholic Encyclopedia also:

"Devotion to Our Blessed Lady in its ultimate analysis must be regarded as a practical application of the doctrine of the Communion of Saints. Seeing that this doctrine is not contained, at least explicity, in the earlier forms of the Apostles' Creed, there is perhaps no ground for surprise if we do not meet with any clear traces of the cultus of the Blessed Virgin in the first Christians centuries," the worship of Mary being a later development.".

When Mary worship first started in the church it was frowned upon. Yet within just a few years, Mary worship was not only condoned by what is known today as the Catholic Church, it became an official doctrine at the Council of Ephesus/Turkey in 43AD.  The same place that Diana/Semaramis  had been worshiped with a tower shaped symbol of the tower of Babel crowned on her head.
Many of these renamed goddess figures were crowned and adorned with jewels, in exactly the same way as the images of the Hindu and Egyptians virgins. Today those same jewelled goddesses are worshipped in the Roman Catholic Church even tho church hierarchy claim that they do not worship Mary.

Cybele

Cybele (also known as Semiramis), the Phrygian goddess, known to her followers as "the mother of god",  was closely related to the worship of Mithra (also known as Nimrod). Just as Mithraism was a man's religion, the worship of Cybele was practiced by women. The priests of Mithra were known as "Fathers" and the Priestesses of Cybele as "Mothers". But many of Cybele's priestesses were also "transgendered females" known as galli, who participated in self-mutilation (including self-castration).

Cybele was the goddess of nature, fertility, and of fortifications, who was worshipped in Rome as the Great Mother of the Gods. She bore a key like Janus, which opened the gates of the invisible world. ( supposedly the world prior to the flood).  It was only in the second century before the Christian era that the worship of Cybele under that name, was introduced to Rome; but the same goddess, under the name of Cardea, with the "power of the key," was worshipped in Rome, along with Janus, ages before.

Cybele originated as an earth goddess worshipped in Asia Minor, primarily at Çatal Hüyük. She was known as Kubaba  which suggests Humbaba, who was the guardian of the forest in the Epic of Gilgamesh and was earliest depicted as an earth mother -- in plump and heavy forms. The name may be derivative of the local word for cube and may refer to a black meteorite that was associated with  her that resided either at Pessinus, Pergamum, or Mt. Ida.

Rome was considered to be a "New Troy" by many, and thought that its fate might be dependent upon the Phrygian Goddess. The Sibylline books declared that "whenever a foreign enemy has invaded Italy, he can only be driven away and vanquished, if the Mother of Mount Ida is transferred from Pessinus to Rome".  So Cybele had to be brought to Rome to help bring about a victory against Hannibal the Carthaginian in what we now call the Second Punic War.

A delegation was sent to Delphi to consult the Oracle and then to Pergamun where the ruling King (then allied with Rome against Philip V of Macedon) gave them the statue and the black meteorite that personified Cybele. This was carried on a ship  to Ostia (chief port of Rome).  It was called the Black Stone of the Magna Mater.

When Cybele worship moved to Rome the black meteorite was adapted as the head of the cult statue. Cybele, like Artemis of Ephesus, was a "black virgin".

Caesar Augustus acknowledged Cybele as chief divinity of the Roman Empire - the Magna Mater and she was housed in the Temple of Victoria until a Metro  was built in 191 BCE.  The early Christians were determined to destroy the cult and St Augustine condemned her as a "demon" and a "monster".  In the 4th Century her worship was banned.  Elements of the cult were transferred into Christianity .

Cybele retained prominence in the heart of the Empire until the fifth century BCE - when the stone was then lost. Her cult prospered throughout the Empire and it is said that every town or village remained true to the worship of Cybele.
Festival of Hilaria, in honour of Cybele,  ancient Rome (Mar 15 - 27)

The Hilaria was a Roman festival of the Vernal Equinox.  Today was the final day 27th March, the lavatio, on which the Romans performed the ceremonial rites of washing – the tradition that some cultures know today as Spring cleaning.

Also today was the annual procession in honour of the Mother of the Gods, and the carriage in which her image was carried was washed in the waters of the Almo, a Roman stream with a procession of reed-bearers (cannophori).  Her priests sprinkled their blood on the goddess’ image, while novices (galli) castrated themselves.

The silver image of the goddess, with its face of jagged black stone, sat in a wagon drawn by oxen. Preceded by the nobles walking barefoot, it moved slowly, to the loud music of pipes and tambourines, out by the Porta Capena, and so down to the banks of the Almo, which flows into the Tiber just below the walls of Rome.

There the high-priest, robed in purple, washed the blood off the wagon, the image, and the other sacred objects in the water of the stream. On returning from their bath, the wain and the oxen were strewn with fresh spring flowers. All was mirth and gaiety. source

Roman Statute of Cybele
The basilica of Saint Peter's now stands upon the former site (map at left)  of Cybele's main temple in Rome.  She wore a key like Janus which gave her the same authority as Janus (key to heaven and earth and the mysteries of the world prior to the flood).  Look at the diagram of the Vatican to the right -  in the shape of a key.

Celebrations also took place between 4-10th April with the Megalensia festival, the anniversary of the arrival of the goddess (i.e the Black Stone) in Rome.   From 191 BCE, when Cybele's temple had been completed, the great festivities began on this day and were celebrated for six days each year. As her priests danced through the streets, they beat themselves bloody in an ecstatic ritual.

Little did the restrained Romans know what worship of the Magna Mater  really entailed. It wasn't long, however, before they learned that her worship required not only self-flagellation, but emasculation of the priests.

Janus  bore a key, and Cybele bore a key; and these are the two keys that the Pope emblazons on his arms as the ensigna of his spiritual authority.

The term Cardinal is derived from Cardo, a hinge. JanuS (known also as Bel/Cush) , whose key the Pope bears, was the god of doors and hinges, and was called Patulclus, and Clusius ‘the opener and the shutter’...Now, to this Janus, as Mediator, worshipped in Asis Minor, and equally, from very early times, in Rome, belonged the government of the world; and, ‘all power in heaven, in earth, and the sea,’ according to Pagan ideas, was vested in him. In this character he was said to have ‘jus vertendi cardinis; -the ‘power of turning the hinge; -of opening the doors of heaven, or of opening or shutting the gates of peace or war upon earth. The Pope, therefore, when he set up as the High-priest of Janus, assumed also the ‘jus vertendi cardinis,’ the ‘power of turning the hinge,’ of opening and shutting in the blasphemous Pagan sense"

In the Philippines, there is a statue of Our Lady of the Rosary that is nearly 5 feet high. It wears a crown of gold studded with diamonds, rubies, and other gems. There is a large halo like a sunburst behind its head, made of gold and diamonds.

In Spain, a statue of Our Lady of the Forsaken has elegant gowns and mantles decorated with gold and jewels. It has a large collection of jewels, including $50,000 worth of jewels that are a gift from Queen Isabella II.

Our Lady of Guadalupe is best known for a painting in Mexico, but there is also a statue in Spain that wears gold and jewels. It has a sunburst headdress with 30,000 jewels.

Even paintings of Mary can wear jewels. In Russia, there is a painting of Our Lady of Kazan that is covered with a rizza (a structure of gold that covers the entire painting except for the faces of Mary and baby Jesus). This rizza has more than 1,000 diamonds, rubies, pearls, and sapphires on it.
In Spain, a statue of Our Lady of the Pillar wears clothing decorated with gold and jewels, and a large gold crown covered with jewels. There is a sunburst (halo) behind the statue with a diameter that is larger than the height of the statue.  The  crown made of 25 pounds of gold and diamonds, with so many diamonds that you can hardly see the gold. In addition, it has six other crowns of gold, diamonds and emeralds. It has 365 mantles which are embroidered with gold and covered with roses of diamonds and other precious stones. It has 365 necklaces made of pearls and diamonds, and six chains of gold set with diamonds. The wall behind the statue is covered with gold stars that are studded with jewels.
When Pope John Paul II was shot, while the ambulance was rushing him to the hospital, the Pope was not praying to God or calling on the name of Jesus. He kept saying, over and over, “Mary, my mother!” Polish pilgrims placed a picture of Our Lady of Czestochowa on the throne where the Pope normally sat. People gathered around the picture. Vatican loudspeakers broadcasted the prayers of the rosary. When the Pope recovered, he gave Mary all the glory for saving his life, and he made a pilgrimage to Fatima to publicly thank her.  More details on Fatima here.

"We do NOT worship Mary"
The head of the fish formed a mitre above that of the old man, while its scaly, fan-like tail fell as a cloak behind, leaving the human limbs and feet exposed."
Fish on Fridays

The worship of Dagon also affected people's eating habits.

This may explain the mystery of why the Catholics abstain from eating fish on all days except Fridays.
Whether they realize it or not, they are practicing the ancient pagan rite of worshipping Dagon.

According to The Catholic Encyclopedia:

"As to the ritual of his worship...we only know from ancient writers that, for religious reasons, most of the Syrian peoples abstained from eating fish, a practice that one is naturally inclined to connect with the worship of a fish-god." - The Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913.

The Fish symbol

The fish symbol has been used for millennia worldwide as a religious symbol associated with the Pagan great mother goddess. Fish were originally worshiped as a symbol of Nimrod (because the fish survived Noah's flood), the sungod, who after being killed, was reborn in his wife Semiramus' womb. Her womb was represented as "the waters of the great deep". Nimrod then became the fish-god being reborn in these "waters."   Below you will see a drawing of the pagan goddess Cybele with the fish head of dagon on her head. (picture to the left)
Dagon
(otherwise known as Nimrod/Neptune/Poseidon)

The  Priests of Dagon of old wore a mitre  headdress and the Catholic religion uses this same design on their papal headdress"  According to Egyptian mythology, when the judges found Osiris [Nimrod] guilty of corrupting the religion of Adam and cut up his body, they threw the parts into the Nile. It was said that a fish ate one of these chunks ( his reproductive organ) and became transformed. Later, Isis [Semiramis] was fishing along the river bank when she fished up a half-man, half-fish. This sea creature was Dagon, the reincarnated Nimrod.

And Dagon is the representation of Nimrod (of ancient Babylon) resurrecting out of the ocean depths as a half-man, half-fish. "Dagon is the diminutive of dag, and signifies... fish...The Babylonians believed that a being, part man and part fish, emerged from the Erythraean Sea,  and appeared in Babylonia in the early days of its history...

Representations of this fish-god have been found among the sculptures of Nineveh.  The Philistine Dagon was of a similar character." - Manners and Customs of the Bible; by James Freeman.

"In Babylon there was "Oannes" a fish god who imparted great knowledge to the people.  He taught them how to build cities. He also taught them math and geometric laws, and was credited with giving them all the knowledge that they would ever receive.  At night, he would go back into the sea to spend the night, because he was amphibious.  He had the head of a man; covered by the head of a fish, and had the legs and feet of a man and the torso of a man, but was covered by the scales and tail of a fish. "  He was called the great Fish of heaven.

In Chaldean times, the head of the church was the representative of Dagon, he was considered to be infallible, and was addressed as ‘Your Holiness’.

Nations subdued by Babylon had to kiss the ring and slipper of the Babylonian god-king. The same powers and the same titles are claimed to this day by the Dalai Lama of Buddhism, and the Pope.

Not only does the pope wear this “Mitre” hat, but so do the Cardinals on certain occasions when they are dressed in their royal regalia.
Deus Sol Invictus
”the Unconquered Sun god”
Millions even claim Mary is Jesus' co-redeemer, look at the blasphemous scars in Mary's hands

Presently, Roman Catholicism holds Mary to be eternally virgin, just as Isis was. Catholicism also contends that Mary was without sin, making her into a type of "god."  In fact, there are some who claim that Mary is the "fourth person" within the Trinity.

This belief is linked to Catholicism’s
claim that Mary now has a direct say in
mankind’s salvation through her role of
co-redemption and mediation. Hence, the elevated Mary becomes a "goddess" in the Catholic faith, just as Isis was a goddess in the pantheon of Egyptian deities. And just as Isis was (and still is) called "Mother of the World" and "Queen of Heaven," so too
Mary is now exalted with these same titles."

BAAL Worship
The Catholics teach baal worship of the Sun god and the Moon and the stars  Not openly but always packaged descretely as to not be noticed by the untrained eye .  a picture is worth a thousand words.....................
"Now the lords of the Philistines assembled to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice, for they said, "Our god has given Samson our enemy into our hands."
Judges 16:23
DAGON is mentioned in the Bible:

"Now the rulers of the Philistines assembled to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god...."
Judges 16:23

"And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of Jehovah; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands lay cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him."
1Samuel 5:2,4

"On that day I will punish those who worship Dagon.....On that day, says the Lord, a cry will be heard at the Fish Gate... I will punish those who are satisfied with themselves, who think, 'The Lord won't help us or punish us.' The Lord's day of
judging is coming soon; it is near and coming fast. The cry will be very sad on the day of the Lord; even soldiers will cry."
Zephaniah 1:9,10,14

"And they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon".
1Chronicles 10:10

"And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of Jehovah; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands lay cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him."
1Samuel 5:2,4

Babylon's "Mother and Child" were worshipped as Semiramis and Tammuz. Then in Egypt as Isis and Horus.  Then in Ephesus as Diana (Acts 19:27) - the goddess by herself.  But at the Council of Ephesus in 431 AD, Diana was renamed "Mary" and Mary-worship became official Catholic doctrine.

The solar disk of Isis became Mary's halo.  Diana's necklace became Mary's rosary.  The titles of Semiramis ("Mediatrix", "Queen of Heaven", etc) were transferred to Mary.
The Vatican/St Peter's Square

The Vatican/St Peter's Basilica is a truly impressive building.  Its the largest church in the world.  Vatican means "Hill of Divination" and Basilica has its root meaning in the magical word, "basilisk".  The most feared basilisk for pagans was the serpent basilisk.

The solar wheel was another symbol of Baal Worship.  When Israel turned to Baal, they made chariots dedicated to the sun god, who they thought travelled across the sky in a great chariot.

"And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire".
2 Kings 23:11

All through the Vatican there are images and symbols of  the sun wheel but the biggest sun wheel in the world is right in St Peter's Square.  It is also known as the occult 8-Wheel Path of Enlightenment by pagans/wiccans today.  St Peter's also faces due east.
If you look at  the center of the wheel you see that there is an obelisk in the centre and at the center of the huge eight-point sun wheel, is a smaller four-pointed sun wheel, the same symbol as found on the altar stone in the temple of Baal in Hatzor.

In Babylonian history Nimrod was killed and his body was cut into pieces.  His wife Semaramis collected all the parts except for one - his reproductive organ.  Legend says that the fish ate it hence when Nimrod was reborn he was part man part fish - Dagon.  In Egyptian history Nimrod was called Osiris and the obelisk represents Osiris' male phallus.

When the ancient Roman Empire fell, the Roman Catholic Church began to increase its power and influence until it gained total power, both spiritually and politically. Soon, the Vatican purchased one of Egypt's ancient obelisks.  The Obelisk from Egypt was brought to Rome by Emperor Caligula in 37 AD.  It came from Heliopolis, Egypt, where it had been built by the Pharaoh Mencares in 1835 BC in honor of the sun.

It is also a sun dial, its shadows mark noon over the signs of the zodiac in the white marble disks in the paving of the square. The obelisk rests upon four couchant lions, each with two bodies whose tails intertwine. , where they placed it in St. Peter's Basilica. Therefore, whenever the Pope holds audience to vast crowds within the Basilica, the Pope is facing the obelisk.
At Pope John Paul II's funeral his coffin faced due east - facing the Obelisk.

The Monstrance

Here is Pope Benedict holding what is called a Monstrance or Ostensorium. It is used to display a round wafer of bread, called the host, which is used in what is called the Mass, Lord's Supper, Communion or Eucharistic meal. The Catholic believes this wafer of bread turns into the actual body of Christ when consecrated during the Mass.

The Roman Catholic Church even admits the Monstrance to be a sunburst:

"During the baroque period, it took on a rayed form of a sun-monstrance with a circular window surrounded by a silver or gold frame with rays."

Source:  The Dictionary of the Liturgy by Rev. Jovian P. Lang, OFM

The priest sometimes holds up the sunburst monstrance with the host inside for the congregation to adore and venerate. Virtually any time the monstrance is viewed by the congregation, they kneel in submission. A Catholic cannot walk past this sun symbol without acknowledging it by kneeling and or making the sign of the cross with their hands.

Inside the glass enclosure is a crescent, upon which the round wafer god host is placed, called a "lunette" or "luna" (moon).
The Host

Note the similarity to the symbol of Baal from Hatzor: a cross within a circle.
The great monstrance of the cathedral of Toledo is more than twelve feet high, and the construction took more than 100 years.  It is adorned with 260 statuettes, one of the largest of which is said to be made of the gold brought by Columbus from the New World.

It is said to contain 18 kg (40 pounds) of gold, and 183 kg (400 pounds) of silver, for a total weight nearing 1/4 ton of precious metals. (picture to left)

Here is another large monstrance.  The image is called "The Monstrance of Our Lady of the Sign, Ark of Mercy" which will eventually be housed in the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy to be built in Chicago. Mary hovers over the Ark of the Covenant, with 2 cherubim on either side with wings overspread and Mary as the woman of Revelation 12 in place on the Arks mercy seat.  On her chest is the sunburst symbol that contains a one foot wide wafer host and a halo of gold stars around her head.
                    St Peter
                              Jupiter/Mithra/Nimrod

The bronze statue in the Vatican  is supposedly of St Peter.  Eminent archeologists and historians are inclined to believe that the bronze statue of St. Peter in Rome, standing on a pedestal about four feet high near the Main Altar close by one of the four massive pillars supporting the dome was actually a statue of the greek god Jupiter Capitolinus taken from the pagan Panethon Temple in Rome. It is said that Pope Leo the Great transformed it into the traditional likeness of Saint Peter." Thus, people are really paying homage to a pagan god, not the Apostle Peter!

The statue in St. Peter’s Cathedral in Rome includes a solar disk above his head  and he is showing a "secret trident" hand signal (read more in our freemasonry section).  The bishops at Rome also claimed Peter as the head of the church, instead of Christ and they claimed that the authority conferred on Peter was therefore transferred to themselves. The extended foot is nearly worn away with people kissing it in homage.

A jewel encrusted triregno tiara  is regularly used to dress the statue of Peter in St. Peter's Basilica.

The Altar of the Chair of St Peter

Every year on February 22, the  Catholic Church celebrates the feast of the Chair of St. Peter, to commemorate St. Peter's teaching in Rome. Already in the second half of the 18th century an ancient wooden chair inlaid with ivory was venerated and traditionally held to be the Episcopal chair on which St. Peter sat as he instructed the faithful of Rome. In fact, it is a throne in which fragments of acacia wood are visible, which could be part of the chair of St. Peter, encased in oak and reinforced with iron bands. Several rings facilitated its transportation during processions. Pope Alexander VII commissioned Bernini to build a sumptuous monument which would give prominence to this ancient wooden chair. Bernini built a throne in gilded bronze, richly ornamented with bas-reliefs in which the chair was enclosed: two pieces of furniture, one within the other. On January 17, 1666 it was solemnly set above the altar.
The base of the altar is made of black and white marble from Aquitaine and red jasper from Sicily. Four gigantic statues (about 5 m. tall) in gilded bronze surround the Chair which looks almost as if it were suspended amidst the clouds. The two outer statues are figures of two Doctors of the Latin Church: St. Ambrose and St. Augustine; the two inner statues, with bare heads, are of two Doctors of the Greek Church: St. Athanasius and St. John Chrysostom.

Above the Chair are two angels bearing the tiara and keys, symbols of the Roman pontiff's authority. On the Chair, are three bas-reliefs picked out in gold, which refer to the same number of Gospel episodes: the Consignment of the keys, Feed my sheep, and the Washing of the feet.

The whole composition is crowned by the fantastic gilt and stucco Gloria peopled by a host of angels among rays of light and gigantic billowing clouds. source: Guide to St Peter's
In the Vatican there is a sculpture of a Golden Child, which is a reminder of worshipping Tammuz. Tammuz was born in 25. December, and he represents regeneration of the sun. Many names mean child sun god such as  Mithra, Horus, Isvara, Bacchus, Iacchus, Adonis, Attis etc.

The trident of Babylon was placed in hands of all Pagan gods -the pitchfork.

On the head of the infant Jesus there is a trident symbol.  This pagan symbol is from Babylon.
The worlds largest pinecone sculpture is in the  grounds of the Vatican.  In Babylon the pine cone described the fertility and the regeneration power of Tammuz.

The pine cone staff in Egypt  was a symbol of the sun  god Osiris.
The Pontifical Crosier is really a roman augur.  When the Roman augurs consulted the heavens, there was a certain instrument that was indispensable. That instrument  was curved at the one end, and was called "lituus." or divining rod.
This magic crook can be traced up directly to the first king of Babylon, that is, Nimrod, who, as stated by Berosus, was the first that bore the title of a Shepherd-king.
The Worship of Marduk

After their deaths, Nimrod and his wife Semiramis (the ancient "queen of heaven") were confirmed by their priests as gods and given homage as Marduk and Astarte. The name Marduk was not revealed to the masses but his attributes were set forth under pseudonyms of various gods ie Bel, Nebo, Poseidon, Jupiter, Baal, Mercury and Mars.

There is one common element to Nimrod/Marduk in all his manifestations and that is the symbol of the snake/serpent/dragon. Nimrod took the dragon as his personal emblem.

Snake Dragon of Marduk at one time decorated the Ishtar Gate which began the procession to the great temple of Marduk for about half a mile. The dragon is decorated in molded glazed bricks, with its scaly body of a dragon, head of a snake, hind feet claws of a large bird of prey, front paws of a lion and the tail of a deadly scorpion. It is interesting that the serpent in the Garden of Eden was apparently standing upright before it became cursed in the fall. The Hebrew word for serpent is "nachash" and in Isaiah 27:1 the dragon is also referred to as the "nachash".
In the Vatican-museum the Vatican proudly displays and cherishes its Crest; the snake-dragon of Marduk. It is also their oldest piece. Roman Emperor Heliogabalus (218-222) introduced the Akitu-festival ( New Year Celebrations) in honour of Marduk during his reign in the third Century.

Today, in the Roman Church, the worship of the ''Sacred Heart" is as popular as ever, but the Babylonian ‘sacred heart’ was the infant deity as worshipped in the arms of his mother, and the word ‘heart’ was ‘BEL’ in the Chaldean language."
Thus the boy-god came to be regarded as
the "god of the heart," in other words, as Cupid,
or the god of love. To identify this infant divinity,
with his father "the mighty hunter," he was equipped
with "bow and arrows"...this sportive boy-god was
celebrated as taking aim with his gold-tipped shafts
at the hearts of mankind. His real character was
of course that of  Venus and her son Cupid.
They were adopted by Rome as the Madonna and
the child." source: Hislop
Webster's Dictionary describes a halo as the aura of glory, veneration, or sentiment surrounding an idealized person or thing. The golden or jeweled crowns worn by royalty, meant to signify their "divine right" to rule, were originally modeled after the halo. But it was the ancient pagans that originated this practice of using halos or "sun-disks" to signify the divinity of the sun god.

Catholic Inquisition and The Torture Tools

Most people have some knowledge of the holocaust. The 6 years of torture and atrocities that the Jews suffered under Hitler and the Nazis during the Second World War. While in no way downplaying the terrible events of the holocaust, such a massacre does not compare to the severity to the torture and murder that took place under Papal authority during the 605 years of the Inquisition. From the beginning of the Papacy, until the present time, it is estimated by credible historians that more than 50,000,000, men and women have been slaughtered for the crime of heresy charged against them by Papal Rome. This Video contains actual photographs of some of the instruments of torture that were used.
