The Whore of Revelation

Rev 17:1  And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

Rv 17:2  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

Rev 17:3  So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Rev 17:4  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Rev 17:5 On her forehead was written a mysterious name:

BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF WHORES AND ABOMINATER OF THE EARTH.






Rev 17:6  I saw the woman drunk on the blood of holy ones, and on the blood of the witnesses to YESHUA. On seeing her, I was greatly amazed.

Rev 17:7  Then the angel said to me: "Why are you so amazed? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her.

Rev 17:8  The beast you saw was, and is not, but will ascend from the Abyss; then go to ruin. The residents of the earth whose names have not been written in the Book of Life since the founding of the world will be amazed to see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Rev 17:9 This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains among where the woman is seated; and they are seven kings

Rev 17:18  The woman which thou sawest is the great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
U.S. To Help Rebuild City Of Babylon In Iraq

Largely overlooked by the Western news media over the past few weeks was an enormously significant story. The government of Iraq is moving forward with plans to protect the archaeological remains of the ancient City of Babylon, in preparation for building a modern city of Babylon. The project, originally started by the late Saddam Hussein, is aimed eventually at attracting scores of “cultural tourists” from all over the world to see the glories of Mesopotamia’s most famous city. What’s more, the Obama Administration is contributing $700,000 towards “The Future of Babylon Project,” through the State Department’s budget. more

Idolatry was born in Babylon and just like a virus it spread in all directions, through all civilizations down through history. 

The first people to be worships as gods were Nimrod, his wife, Semiramis and their child Tammuz.

We can still see that worship throughout most of the world today. Most pagans were so supersitious that they kept the same names for gods in use down through the ages - even though different names were used in different cultures you can still see their influence today in many of the worlds religions.  Sadly these influences crept into the church and still are there today.

As you read through these pages you will see that the worship of Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz is alive and well not only in our governments and churches but also in our customs and traditions.  The Old Babylonian Religion has permeated into all aspects of our society.  Heylel Ben Shachar is the name of the Whore of Revelation!

Want Middle East Stability? Move UN to Iraq

Where should it go? Try Iraq. While moving the U.N. headquarters to Venezuela or Iran is probably not wise, moving it to Iraq might be a strategic coup. There is even a ready-made location for it—Saddam Hussein’s 600-room palace and compound constructed over the remains of the ancient city of Babylon.

Iraq plans EU-style Middle East union

Informal discussions on "Regional Economic Partnership" have reportedly been launched with Kuwait, Syria and Turkey, though not yet Iran. The aim would also to be to bring on board Jordan and Saudi Arabia and - in a subsequent phase - the Gulf states of Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, but not Israel. more

In Revelation there will be a literal city of Babylon............... maybe even in Iraq as we can see from above in the headlines and considering the amount of money from all over the world that is being poured into Iraq's Reconstruction  - the world's investors see a great potential in the New Iraq.  We can see what investment has done in places like Dubai in the UAE and no doubt investors will have the same plans for Iraq.  But one cannot be dogmatic about this as God knows best.  He may have somewhere else in mind for Babylon the Great especially if the Beast System is Islamic.  But one thing is for sure........... today Spiritual Babylon  is alive and well and thriving in our world. more
