The Roman Catholic Church and Islam Connection

1. Both The Roman Catholic Church and Islam believe that only they are the one true church/religion.

2. The Roman Catholic Church  and the Islam require mandatory fasting.

3. The Roman Catholic Church worships, prays to and gives titles of God to Mary. Islam highly esteems Mary and she       is mentioned 34 times in the Qu'ran.

"Even the infidel Muhammed glorifies Mary in his Koran, saying, 'The angels shall say to Maryam, "Allah has chosen thee; he has made thee exempt from all stain'". The Marian (Roman Catholic) Bible

4. The Roman Catholic Church and Islam base their salvation on a complicated system of works and deny                        salvation by faith alone. There is no assurance of salvation in either religion.

5. Both cults deny the Biblical view of the Atonement. The Roman Catholic Church doctrine dictates that one must go        to Purgatory to have his sins purged, Jesus just paved the way. The Muslims believe their works will save them but        will not know until Judgment Day. This is because there is no atonement for sin, and God's grace does not exist.

6. The Roman Catholic Church claims visions and apparitions in an effort to add false doctrine. Muhammad                       claimed to be purified as a child by angels. He claimed to receive revelations from Archangel  Gabriel.

7. The Roman Catholic Church uses a rosary for their prayers, Islam uses prayer beads. The rosary/prayer beads are       concepts taken from paganism.

8. The Pope is the vicar or substitute of Christ for the Roman Catholic Church.  In Islam, Muhammad is called  the             last and final Messenger of God, the successor to Jesus.

9. The Roman Catholic Church and Islam have their own divorce system. The Roman Catholic Church grants                     anullments and Islam allows a man to divorce his wife by telling her she is divorced.

10. Islam rejects the Trinity doctrine, the Deity of Christ, salvation by grace through faith and teaches that                          Christians should be killed. However, the Roman Catholic Church accepts them and believes that they are offered          salvation because of their faith in Abraham.

11. Both church organizations believe that leaving their church will result in eternal damnation.

12. The Roman Catholic Church and Islam share a hatred for the Jews.

13. The Roman Catholic Church and the Islam base some of their doctrine on pagan traditions. For The  Roman                  Catholic Church the traditions of a goddess, rosary, pope, relics, purgatory, transubstantiation, praying to dead              people, and idol worship are all based on paganism. The Allah of Islam was actually a  pagan god, and not even the       major deity.

14. The Roman Catholic Church and Islam have added books to support false doctrine. The Roman Catholic                        Church has added the Apocrypha and Islam the Qu'ran.

15. The Roman Catholic Church priest system (including Popes) has a history of sexual abuse of women and                      children. Islam has a history of (including Muhammad) sexual abuse of women and children.

16.  Both religions believe in using FORCE to spread their version of the one true god to the unbelievers.

17.  Both religions believe in a union with the state or of using the police powers of the state to compel                                obedience to their tenets.

18   Both religions have a "holy" shrine in which the believers are taught to look to as their headquarters e.g.                        Mecca and the Vatican.

The Vatican’s encounter with Islam

A historic step was taken in Rome last week. The first seminar of the Catholic-Muslim Forum was held on Nov. 4-6 2008 at the Vatican with the participation of about 60 Muslim and Catholic religious leaders and scholars from around the world.

The participants discussed the love of God, love of the neighbor, human dignity and mutual respect in the two traditions of Islam and Christianity. On Nov. 6 the delegation was received by Pope Benedict XVI inside the Vatican where Mustafa Ceric, the grand mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Seyyed Hossein Nasr, a world-renowned scholar of Islam, spoke on behalf of the Common Word delegation. source
King Abdullah Visits the Vatican

In the first meeting between a Saudi monarch and a pope, Benedict XVI and Saudi King Abdullah in 30-minute tête-à-tête discussed a “just solution” to the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians and, surprisingly, about the “importance of collaboration between Christians, Muslims and Jews for the promotion of peace, justice and spiritual and moral values.” source
Did the Roman Catholic Church invent Islam?

Alberto Rivera claimed that he, a novice Jesuit priest, was allowed to roam through the Vatican basement, picking through the treasures and secrets of the centuries, and he claimed that Cardinal Bea, the Jesuit General, personally instructed him in the origin of Islam. The claim he makes would take the story back to about 600 AD, but at that time the Vatican didn't exist, and records for such a claim would not possibly exist.

Indeed, the Vatican proper was not secured as a sovereign state until May 13, 1871. According to Rivera, from vaults of the Roman Whore, and Cardinal Bea, comes the alleged revelation that the Roman Catholic Church started Islam on purpose to take the Arabs under their control, and to secure Jerusalem.

Satan is quite capable of starting an evil thing without the help of the Roman Mother Church, helpful as she may have been to Satan.

Allah, and Islam, came along the roads from Babylon to Mecca, there is  no detour by way of Rome. Indeed, the Roman Church got her vile religion from Babylon, where Muhammed got his, but they were not in any league, real or imagined.  source

THE "MIRACLE" OF THE SUN

"To my surprise, I see clearly and distinctly a globe of light advancing from east to west, gliding slowly and majestically through the air...Suddenly the globe with its extraordinary light vanished, but near us a little girl of about ten continues to cry joyfully: 'I still see it! I still see it! Now it is going down!'

Jesus said that in the Last Days there would be many false signs and wonders, so much so, and so deceptive, that if it were possible even the Elect would be led astray. The key issue is whether a sign or wonder is consistent with the Bible. The messages coming from RCC "signs and wonders", particularly from "Marian apparitions", are NOT Biblical - they contradict the Bible, and primarily serve to exalt Mary and diminish Jesus.

The Fatima cult  began after  the alleged appearance of the Virgin Mary to three sickly children at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917. In St Paul's day it would have been part of Spain.

When you know the the origins of "Marian Worship" you realise that it was not Mary who appeared to those children but Seminaris.

Only the children were able to see the apparition hear what was said.

The  apparition was accompanied by a strange miracle:

"The sun became pale, three times it turned speedily on itself, like a Catherine wheel . . . At the end of these convulsive revolutions it seemed to jump out of its orbit and come forward towards the people on a zigzag course, stopped, and returned again to its normal position.  This was seen by a large crowd near the children and lasted twelve minutes.  On that day, witnesses claimed to have seen the sun dance in the sky.

Even tho no one else in the world noticed that the sun had just jumped out of its orbit and started dancing did not concern the Roman Catholic Church!

Ever noticed the first journeys the Apostle Paul made?

First he went to
Arabia
then
Rome
and then
Spain!
The Vision
The Shrine
Fatima was the name of Mohammad’s favorite daughter. The village of Fatima, in Portugal, was named after a woman who converted to Islam and took the name Fatima. So it is named after Mohammad’s favorite daughter.

Fatima, regarded as "the Mother of the Imams", plays a special role in Shia beliefs.   She has a unique status as Muhammad's only surviving child, the wife of Ali, their first Imam, and the mother of Hassan and Husain. She is believed to have been immaculate, sinless and a pattern for Muslim women. Although leading a life of poverty, the Shia tradition emphasizes her compassion and sharing of whatever she had with others.   Shias hold that Fatimah will play a redemptive role as the mistress of the day of judgment in the hereafter as a reward for her suffering in this world.

Fatima plays a role for Shiite that is similar to the role of Mary in Catholicism. For instance, Shiite theology assigns Fatima a part in the end-times. The Shiites believe that the Fatima shrine belongs by right to the Muslims and that the Catholics have stolen it form its rightful owners. They argue that if a Lady dressed in shining white appeared there, then it’s because she had a message for Muslims and not for Christians.  wiki

Many Muslims today actually make pilgrimages to the Catholic shrine of Mary located there in Fatima, Portugal.

Fatima to Become Interfaith Shrine!

The Shrine's rector, Monsignor Luciano Guerra, told the Congress that Fátima "will change for the better." Addressing Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Orthodox, Buddhist and African Pagan representatives he stated: "The future of Fátima, or the adoration of God and His mother at this holy Shrine, must pass through the creation of a shrine where different religions can mingle. The inter-religious dialogue in Portugal, and in the Catholic Church, is still in an embryonic phase, but the Shrine of Fátima is not indifferent to this fact and is already open to being a universalistic place of vocation."

The Hindu representative Ansshok Ansraj, described how already in the Far East millions of Hindus are getting "positive vibrations" from visiting Marian shrines without endangering their faith.

Monsignor Guerra pointed out that the very fact that Fátima is the name of a Muslim and Mohammed's daughter, is indicative that the Shrine must be open to the co-existence of various faiths and beliefs. According to the Monsignor: "Therefore we must assume that it was the will of the Blessed Virgin Mary that this comes about this way." Traditional Catholics opposed to the Congress were described by the Monsignor as "old fashioned, narrow minded, fanatic extremists and provocateurs." From the Portugal News, 11-01-03
Catholic Fatima Shrine Has Developed Into Centre Where All Religions of World Can Pay Homage To Their Various Gods!

The Portugal News 11/1/03: Delegates attending the Vatican and United Nations (UN) inspired annual interfaith congress, "The Future of God," held during October in Fatima, heard how the Shrine is to be developed into a centre where all the religions of the world will gather to pay homage to their various gods.

Addressing Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Orthodox, Buddhist and African Pagan representatives, the Shrine’s rector, Roman Catholic Monsignor Luciano Guerra, stated: "The future of Fatima, or the adoration of God and His mother at this holy Shrine, must pass through the creation of a shrine where different religions can mingle...."

Traditional Catholics opposed to the Congress were described by the Monsignor as "old-fashioned, narrow-minded, fanatic extremists and provocateurs."

One of the principle speakers, the Jesuit theologian Father Jacques Dupuis, was insistent that the religions of the world must unite. "The religion of the future will be a general converging of religions in a universal Christ that will satisfy all," he said.

The Belgium-born theologian argued: "The other religious traditions in the world are part of God’s plan for humanity, and the Holy Spirit is operating and present in Buddhist, Hindu, and other sacred writings of Christian and non-Christian faiths as well." In an impassioned plea he said: "The universality of God’s kingdom permits this, and this is nothing more than a diversified form of sharing in the same mystery of salvation. In the end, it is hoped that the Christian will become a better Christian and each Hindu a better Hindu."

An official statement put out by the Congress called for a non-proselytising approach by all religions. "What is needed is that each religion be true to its faith integrally and treat each religion on the same footing of equality with no inferior or superiority complexes." It emphasized that the secret to peace amongst all religions is admitting that contradictions exist between creeds but to concentrate on what unites them, as opposed to what separates them.

Pope to Visit Jordan Mosque During Holy Land Tour

Pope Benedict XVI will visit Jordan's largest mosque during his first papal tour of the Holy Land in May, a local Roman Catholic priest said Tuesday.

"He will also meet there with Muslim leaders and religious scholars at the mosque, underlining the coexistence between religions," Bader told The Associated Press. source
For the first time, Christians in Qatar worship in church

Our Lady of the Rosary will soon be joined by several churches under construction in what is informally known as "Church City,"

The move gave Qatar its first church since Islam took root here in the 7th century. It also brought Qatar into line with most of its Gulf neighbors, which have all had at least one church for decades. The one exception is Saudi Arabia, whose inflexible strain of Islam still bans worship of another faith. source

The following is the description of the Miracle of the Sun, provided by Lucia, one of the three shepherd children to whom Our Lady appeared.

After speaking, Our Lady opened her hands. Sister Lucia writes:

"Then, opening her hands, she made them reflect on the sun, and as she ascended, the reflection of her own light continued to be projected on the sun itself.

Here, Your excellency, is the reason why I cried out to the people to look at the sun. My aim was not to call their attention to the sun, because I was not even aware of their presence. I was moved to do so under the guidance of an interior impulse.

After Our Lady had disappeared into the immense distance of the firmament, we beheld St. Joseph with the Child Jesus and Our Lady robed in white with a blue mantle, beside the sun. St. Joseph and the Child Jesus appeared to bless the world, for they traced the Sign of the Cross with their hands. When, a little later, this apparitioin disappeared, I saw Our Lord and Our Lady; it seemed to me that it was Our Lady of Dolors. Our Lord appeared to bless the world in the same manner as St. Joseph had done. This apparition also vanished, and I saw Our Lady once more, this time resembling Our Lady of Carmel."

The above quote was taken from the book, Fatima, In Lucia's Own Words, written by one of the three shepherd children who saw Our Lady of Fatima

Rev 18:23 "for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived".          1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,                                                                                                             that in the latter times some  shall depart from                                                                                                          the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and                                                                                                            doctrines of devils;
Will it be Fatima that brings the RCC into Islam's fold or will it be the the Virgin Mary that brings Islam into the RCC's fold?
The Jesuit Who Inspired the Pope's Ideas on Islam

Before he was Pope, then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger would hold an annual summer retreat for his former theology students, focused each year on a single theme of acute concern. Three months after his rise to the papacy, Benedict XVI continued the tradition with a closed-door encounter in the Vatican's breezy summer residence, Castel Gondolfo. The topic chosen that first year as Pope was Islam, and the keynote speaker was Father Samir Khalil Samir, a soft-spoken, Cairo-born Jesuit and an expert on Muslim history and theology.

Thirteen months later Benedict would set off the most explosive moment of his papacy with a lecture at his old university in Regensburg, Germany about faith and reason and the risk that Islamic theology makes the religion particularly prone to violence. Even as criticism of the speech spread in both Muslim and Catholic circles, Samir was among the first and most steadfast defenders of the Pope's message about Islam. Indeed, they were the same ideas Samir had been espousing for years. source
Fātima (the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad) was considered to come from the level of angels. She is considered by many Muslims as divine in origin and several variations of a major hadīth describe how she was conceived on the night of Mi’râj (ascension).

On this night Gabriel took Muhammad to Jerusalem and then to Heaven. While up in Heaven, he was offered some heavenly fruit, the seed of which was responsible for her conception

Though she was his daughter, the Prophet Muhammad called her Um Abi’ha (mother of her father).

Lady Fātima was chosen from all women to be the Mother source of Muhammad’s lineage, the core of the generation of Muhammad. Sufi Islam refers to her as being all knowlege and wisdom and highly revered.

Shī’as revere the person of Fātima, for she is the mother of the line of inspired Imāms who embodied the divine truth for their generation.

As such, Fātima is directly associated with Sophia, the divine wisdom, which gives birth to all knowledge of God. She has thus become another symbolic equivalent of the Great Mother. source: Islamic website
During Pre Islamic times the Ka'ba had fresco paintings including those of Abraham and the " Virgin Mary" with  Jesus depicted as a child.  When Muhammad took over the Ka'ba he removed most of these pagan elements but he specifically left the fresco of the Virgin Mother and her child on the wall in the Ka'ba.

'Green flag of Allah will fly over Vatican'

He said Christian leaders such as Benedict are "afraid" because they realize Islam is Allah's favorite religion and they are going to hell unless they convert. The Gaza preacher declared the "green flag of Muhammad" would soon be raised over the Vatican.

"The day will soon come when the green flag of La Illah Illah Allah (There is no god but Allah) and Muhammad Rasul Allah (Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah) will be raised upon the Vatican and all around the world and on the fortresses of those who want to destroy Islam, because they know that this religion obliges them to face the truth that Islam is Allah's favorite religion. And until they join Islam, hell is their last station," Abu Saqer said. source
