A Little Tidbit to Wet your appetite........
In navigating the earth sailors, pilots, astronauts all use a common measurement, nautical miles.
Why is this important?
Well to solve the Mystery of the location on a map we have to use the maths of Babylon, "sexagesimal" numbering was developed in ancient Babylon. This numeral system uses the number "60" as the base.
So, the maths system of Babylon is used around the world in measuring angles, time and "geographic" coordinates! The standard unit in sexagesimal is the degree, of which there are 360 the same as the number of days in a biblical year. The secondary unit is the minute, of which there are 60 minutes in one degree. 360 degrees in a circle. The tertiary unit is the second, of which there are 60 seconds in one minute. 60 minutes in an hour. The modern use of sexagesimal corresponds with the modern measurement of time and nautical measurement. There are 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in one hour, and 60 seconds in one minute. There are 21,600 nautical miles around the earth.
Daniel speaks of 1,260 days, Revelation speaks of 1,260 days, these of course add to 2,520. Let's look at the Earth's measurement, 21,600 / 60 min = 360 hrs x 7 days = 2,520 hours = 1 week. Since 1 degree = 60 nautical miles, the modern measurement of time roughly corresponds to the rotation (days) and revolution (years) of the Earth.
A nautical mile is obtained by dividing the circumference of the earth into 360 degrees and then further dividing these degrees into 60 minutes. So, one nautical mile equals one minute, or 1/21,600 of the circumference of the earth. Now, if you travelled 60 nautical miles in a straight line, you would have moved one degree on the earth's surface (21,600/360=60).
What does this have to do with the capital city of Mystery Babylon?
To find it we just need to use the math of Babylon, the sexagesimal system and the second hint is, we just look right at a Muslim during prayer time. So where does the Muslim face? Since we are referencing places, nations and cities lets try using the number of the beast, 666. Now, let's just assume that "the city" is located 666 nautical miles from Jerusalem.
Using Google Earth's satellite geonavigation imagery software and its ruler tool or any other precise mapping software that you wish, all you need do is measure the exact straightline distance from the place of God's name, the Temple Mount to the place the Muslim sends prayers, the capital city of Mystery Babylon!
What do we find? From the Dome of the Rock, built in coincidentally in the 600's (688-691AD) we can measure precisely to the Islam's holiest shrine, the Kaaba, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Go ahead and you will see for yourself, it is precisely 666 nautical miles to Kaaba Stone monument in Mecca, the birthplace city of Muhammad.
Only Muslims are allowed to enter and live in Mecca. Non-Muslims must go around the city. Non-Muslims caught in Mecca are subject to punishment. Muslims must face Mecca during their daily prayers and one of the key tenets of Islam is a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a Muslim's life (known as Hajj). Mecca sits in a valley surrounded by seven hills. They are 1) Jabal abu Siba’ , 2) Jabal Safa, 3) Jabal Marwah, 4) Jabal abu Milhah, 5) Jabal abu Ma’aya, 6) Jabal abu Hulayah and 7) Jabal abu Ghuzlan.
Mecca is definitely the religious capital of Saudi Arabia and it is the capital of the Islamic empire and the official residency of the false god Allah.
